Matte charcoal steel garage door installed on a modern craftsman home with a freshly pressure-washed concrete apron

Rotted wood, replaced in a morning.

The Problem

A 22-year-old raised-panel wood door had delaminated at the bottom two sections, letting cold air and moisture into a finished garage.

The Solution

We templated the original rough opening — 9'2" wide, non-standard — and ordered a 3-layer insulated steel panel in matte charcoal to match the new siding. The old track was reused; springs and seals were replaced.

Wood-grain composite carriage-house style garage doors on a new construction spec home, warm walnut finish in afternoon light
02 / Builder's Spec
R-value 0 → 18.4Per panel after upgrade

Carriage-house look. Modern track system.

The Problem

A custom builder needed wood-grain composite doors on six spec homes — the HOA required the carriage-house aesthetic, but the budget ruled out real wood.

The Solution

We sourced a fiberglass composite panel with deep-relief wood-grain embossing, pre-finished in warm walnut. Insulation was upgraded to R-18.4 for Oregon's Title 24 compliance. All six homes were measured and installed across two consecutive Saturdays.

Commercial roll-up garage door on a fire station bay, heavy-gauge steel with red trim, morning light on wet asphalt
03 / Commercial
30,000 cycles ratedCommercial spring spec

Fire station. Overnight window. No delays.

The Problem

Station 14 had a commercial sectional door that racked off-track during a winter storm response — the bay couldn't seal, and apparatus was exposed to freezing rain.

The Solution

We sourced a 14-gauge commercial roll-up rated for wind load and pulled a permit that afternoon. Crew arrived at 10 PM, completed the install by 4 AM, and the station was back in full service for the morning shift.
